Autumn Bat Walk

Believe it or not, there are bats in Streatham! If you want to learn more about them with some possible sightings and sounds, there is a bat walk on Streatham Common on Friday, 16th September.

Led by Dr Iain Boulton from Lambeth Council, the walk will last approximately one hour during which time Dr Boulton will tell you more about these fascinating creatures and how they are such important pollinators for the Common.

Bat detectors will be available, to give you the best chance to hear what might be flying above you.

Bring a torch and meet by the Rookery Café at 7.25pm.

The walk is free of charge but tickets should be booked in advance. Email IBoulton@lambeth.gov.uk
