Halloween preparations are in full swing at The Vale, where residents are getting creative with themed floral arrangements. Under the expert guidance of tutor Di Robertson, the group learned how to craft beautiful Halloween-themed table centrepieces.
The air was filled with the sweet fragrance of roses and eucalyptus, while chrysanthemums and other vibrant autumn flowers added pops of color. Metallic pine cones brought a touch of glamour to the displays. Residents had fun choosing from a variety of quirky and colourful containers, including a Halloween pumpkin mug, a cute fox design, and a classic white ceramic vase.
One resident mentioned how the activity of floristry helped improve the flexibility and dexterity of her hands, a bonus alongside the festive fun. The session was accompanied by the usual lively chatter over cups of tea and coffee, adding to the warm and friendly atmosphere.
Each resident took their arrangement back to their apartment, excited to add the final touches in time for The Vale’s Halloween celebrations.
