Burns Night Celebrated in Style

The Vale paid homage to the Bard of Ayrshire with a traditional Burns Night celebration.

Chef Gordon Gellatly, who is of Scottish heritage, presented the perfect haggis with accompaniments.

Diners entered into the spirit by donning tartan and one resident even sported a kilt.

A dram or two may have been consumed; the only thing that was missing was a live piper.

After much dining, mirth and merriment and maybe a few more drams, thankfully, there wasn’t far for guests to go home.
