Celebrating Mother’s Day

There was a Sunday with a difference as residents, family and friends gathered at The Vale’s bar & bistro for a gourmet Mother’s Day lunch.

Our chef had prepared a delicious choice of three courses that included leek and potato soup, prawn cocktail, steak chasseur, roast chicken, baked salmon or a vegetarian option. Classic apple pie, profiteroles with chocolate sauce or ice cream followed.

Full of bonhomie, family love and a hearty lunch, all agreed that it was a more than pleasant way to spend a Sunday.
