Check In With The Lambeth Country Show This Weekend

The ever-popular Lambeth Country Show takes place this weekend (17/18 July). There is one big difference this year, the 2021 event is a virtual show.

You will still be able to savour the delights of horticulture, mindfulness, music and comedy with an array of workshops, displays and performances. The advantage is you won’t have to leave the comfort of your apartment to do so.

You will need to pre-register to take part in a couple of the events, namely the Mental Health session which takes place at 12.00 noon on Saturday 17 July. This will offer a range of tips and guidance on mental wellbeing and experts will answer any questions from the public. Also bookable in advance is the popular Virtual Sky Tour (charges apply) which offers an astronomical exploration of the skies above us.

Like every country show, there will be a heavy focus on gardening – with a creative twist. Pick up some ideas from the Virtual Flower Show, Vegetable Sculpture, Recycled Garden and Scarecrow Competition.

Music, comedy, dance and the best of local talent will be showcased on the main stage.
