Enter the Dragon

Residents at the Vale welcomed Chinese New Year with a suitably themed banquet. The room was decked out with red dragons and lanterns to reflect that this is the Year of the Dragon.

Guests dined on spring rolls, chicken chow mein, bbq pork and sesame toast, all prepared by our chef. They moved on to the opening the traditional fortune cookies to find out what the year ahead might hold in store.

Those born in the Year of the Dragon are said to be charismatic, powerful, intelligent, confident, gifted and lucky. Dragon years include 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012 so if this includes you or any of your relatives, then you may be born lucky.
