What better way to bring the community together than with a stack of pancakes and a side of laughter? The Vale hosted its annual Pancake Day celebration, and it was a flipping good time!
Traditionally, Pancake Day marks the beginning of Lent—a time when people clear out their store cupboards (and, let’s be honest, find those mystery tins they forgot existed). But at The Vale, it was all about filling plates, not emptying cupboards!
The chef whipped up a mouthwatering selection of savoury pancakes, including ham & cheese, roasted veggies with cheddar, chicken & spinach, mushroom & feta, and even bacon with avocado — because who says pancakes can’t be lavish too?
Laughter filled the air as the Valees shared memories of Pancake Days past, all while showering the chef with well-deserved praise (and maybe a few requests for extra helpings).
To top it all off, things took a sweet turn with a French twist—Crêpes Suzettes! Because if there’s one thing better than a pancake, it’s a pancake drenched in citrusy, buttery, boozy goodness.
