Floral Displays are in the Can

Those who have been taking part in our flower arranging classes have had a further opportunity to test their burgeoning skills and creativity.

The latest session put the focus was on spring flowers, creating an arrangement in an attractive enamel watering can. Fragrant eucalyptus, spray carnations and white freesias formed the heart of these pretty displays.

We were delighted to welcome a new resident to the group, who had never previously tried her hand at flower arranging. She thoroughly enjoyed the session and produced a highly respectable display for a ‘first timer’. One of the residents also brought along her grand-daughter.

As usual, everyone chattered as they worked and there was much swapping of information on plans for the upcoming Easter weekend. Many, of course, would be seeing friends and relatives. We hope they will be suitably charmed and impressed by the watering can floral displays.
