Mindful Movement at The Vale

Residents can have their tensions just melt away whilst rejuvenating minds and bodies with our new Mindful Movement classes.

The sessions, run by qualified tutor and therapist, Diana Saline, combines gentle chair-based yoga exercises with mindfulness, meditation and breath work.

Diana has been a student of yoga since 2015 and is now a qualified yoga therapist as well as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher. She has experienced for herself, as well as through those she has taught, how yoga can help people through injury, grief, stress and both short or chronic medical conditions. Combined with mindfulness – which means being in the present – it can assist with goal setting, life balance, creativity and concentration.

The gentle exercises help with mobility, muscle strengthening and balance; all of increasing importance as we get older.

These classes have become a regular date on The Vale calendar.
