With summer almost behind us, the theme of our latest art group class enabled us to hold onto those beachside [or seaside?] holidays for just a little bit longer.
Oceans and Beaches were the theme and our budding Turners and Van Goghs turned their talents to using acrylic paints on circular canvases to create seascapes. The sea is an ever-changing subject and this was reflected in the variety of finished canvases.
As always, the work prompted a good deal of chatter with everyone swapping experiences and the chance to reminisce over past trips to the coast.
